Humongous Fans help move air quietly and efficiently. For an indoor riding ring, the sound level of the fan is imperative – it can not disturb (or “spook” the horses).
During warmer months, the fan can keep the riding ring a more pleasant place to be – allowing riders to practice out of the hot sun. An added benefit, the fan can reduce the annoying flies that are often found around farms and barns.
During the colder months, the slower movement of the fan can push the warmer air that is near the ceiling of the riding ring back down to the floor of the ring. The riders, trainers and horses can stay warmer without needing to raise the thermostat.
Happy Horse, Happy Riders, Saving Energy.

Manufacturing, Warehouse & Distribution Centers: |
| |
Ask any employee who works in manufacturing, warehousing or distribution and they’ll tell you: It is either too hot or too cold! When it is hot outside, the air inside your building can remain well-above 80 degrees, and that is just too hot. For workers to feel comfortable, the air around them (that would be the ambient tempertaure) should be 72 or less. So how to offer this comfortable environment without breaking the bank? Simple! Install a Humongous Fan. Our 16 and 20 foot fans slowly move a large amount of air. Why is this good? When the air moves past the human body (your employee) at a rate of 5 miles per hour, the body feels cooler. Sure you can accomplish something similar with a standard box fan or pedestal fan. But here is the difference: in order to move the same amount of air, many (20 or more) standard box fans would be required pulling more amps (costing you more to run it!) than our 1 HP motor. If you have only one employee who stands in the same position all day, then maybe this is your answer. But, our employees work & that means they are movng around, getting things done, and that means not standing infront of a stationary box fan. Will any big ‘ol fan do? Of course not! Because of our superior air foil design, our fans move the same amount of air, using half the horsepower of other big fans. Half the horse power? Yes! This means when you don’t need all that extra horsepower, the energy consumption rate goes down, and so does your energy bill. When it is hot and humid, the movement of our Humongous Fan breaks up the moisture that hangs in the air and produces a cooling effect. Already have AC? Nice! How about this? A Humongous Fan will enhance the cooling effect - efficiently increasing the circulation of the cooled air.

Too Cold? |
| |
By now, you’ve probably seen the word “stratification”. As the air warms, the heated air rises. If you have 16 or 20 foot celings, the ceiling is nice & toasty, while 15 feet below, the shop floor can be down right chilly. If you would like to keep the top shelves of your shipping department nice and warm, stop reading this & do nothing different. However, if you would like to efficiently get that heat you have aleady paid for off the ceiling & back to your production area, then hop to it & get a Humongous Fan! A Humongous Fan, run more slowly than when used in the wamer months, can save you money by allowing you to set the thermostat 2-4 deg F cooler and still feel warmer! Additionally, since the air near the ceiling is being circulated properly, less heat is required to maintain the same temperature at a given thermostat setting.

Too Much Air or Not Enough Air? |
| |
Worried about moving too much air? Sure our fans are huge, but they are smart, too! How? We have designed them to move the correct amount of air, at the correct rate of speed, to do the most efficient work. If you want your bills of material and shipping papers flying around the production area, then plug in a pedestal or box fan. If not, we have the solution – our fans run at the right speed to keep you comfortable without disrupting your work. Since our fans are normally supplied with industrial variable speed drives, you can change the speed of the fan almost infinitely to suit your needs. Installing and running a Humongous Fan can improve the ventilation in your building. Better year round ventilation improves the air quality – reducing the need for exhaust fans. A reduction in the humidity will also improve overall indoor air quality, and reduce the chance for harmful moisture and mold.
