Who is Humongous Fan?
We are an industrial manufacturer in the heart of the rust belt (that is Cleveland, Ohio for those of you outside of the Midwest). We have extreme weather variances (freezing cold winters & hot, humid summers). Our assembly and shipping area is in a steel building that has 20 foot ceilings. On winter days, we needed a way to get the heat off of our ceiling (where it only melts the snow on the roof) down to the floor. In the summer, we needed a little breeze so that our folks would not melt. We went looking for ceiling fans to help us out, but the ones that you get at the Big Box Store just did not do the trick. So, we came up with a better mousetrap...

Why do you want our fan?????

Superior Design: Start with a better airfoil design. We worked with some friendly people at NASA who know a thing or two about aerodynamics. Using their simulation software, and confirmation testing in our own wind tunnel, we have come up with a much better blade.

Higher Efficiency: With our better blade design we can move more air with less power. In fact, our 16’ fan moves the same air as the other guys with one half the horsepower! After all, you are trying to save energy…..aren’t you?
